The Inspiration
I am curious about the momentary, sensory impressions of places, how these impressions develop as memories over time, and how in turn, these memories add to our unique sense of self, experience, and perception. Inner landscapes effected by outer ones. The adventure of the heart, mind, and body. As an artist, the journey of each painting is a combination of the three.
The Art
I primarily use acrylics for my paintings. Other works, which are more installation-based, use a variety of mediums, objects, and even other arts--such as video or music--to create truly multi-media experiences. An extroverted artist, I enjoy collaborative art, doing commissions, and providing live painting events for parties, fundraisers, and more.
