The Inspiration
I am curious about the momentary, sensory impressions of places, how these impressions develop as memories over time, and how in turn, these memories add to our unique sense of self, experience, and perception. Inner landscapes effected by outer ones. The adventure of the heart, mind, and body. As an artist, the journey of each painting is a combination of the three.
The Art
My collections invite you to remember, claim, and choose your own wild adventure in life. Far horizons. Salt spray. Life beyond the window. The energy of the city. Come along! I primarily use acrylics, pen, and watercolor for my paintings. Installation and performance-based works use a variety of mediums, objects, video and music to create truly multi-media experiences.
